Hip-Hop|Club Banger Reviews (32) [August 2013 3rd Edition]

Finally Friday is here. The week has past and now it is on to the weekend. And you know what that means. More club bangers. This update was so long I had to split it into three updates. This is the last part of it. There was plenty of club bangers to choose from so you can go ahead and get your groove on. Enjoy your weekend.

Repeat just to make sure:

Follow me @Music2URearZ. This is where I'll be posting my latest info on updates and anything involving music. I've also added an iTunes playlist on the right side of the page. Every time I post a review I will also update the playlist. So you can sample the song or album and then buy it off of iTunes if you like. If some of you don't see the playlist, I recommend disabling Adblock just for this page.

I've added Google Wallet as well. If you want to support and donate you are more then welcome to do so.

Since there are so many tracks to review I'm going to do an overall club banger rating. The rating will change to a maximum of 10.

Here are the reviews:

(Click on iTunes pic for the track)

Jim Jones feat. Jeremih & DJ SpinKing - Nasty Girl'*
Release Date: July 2013

6/10

Jim Jones is back. I haven't heard from him in a minute. And here he churns out a club banger with Jeremih and DJ SpinKing. It's not bad. Just not anything too spectacular. Great as a mash-up though.

Problem feat. Glasses Malone - Say That Then*
Release Date: July 2013

6/10

Gotta problem. Say that then. Say that then. What a catchy hook. This is more of a pre-funk type of banger. It'll get you hyped up. I would use this in a mash-up.

Chuckie feat. Lupe Fiasco, Too $hort & Snow Da Product - Makin' Papers*
Release Date: July 2013

7/10

Lupe Fiasco and Snow Da Product goes hard on this one. This beat is real funky and can be used for more hi energy purposes. Mash-up time.

Recommended for casual playlists.

T-Pain feat B.o.B - Up Down (Do This All Day)*
Release Date: Aug. 2013

8/10

This is what T-Pain should continue doing. This sounds like his other classic stuff and has a great beat to it. B.o.B is a nice feature to have as well. Great slow banger.

Lady Gaga - Applause
Release Date: Aug. 2013

6/10

I would chop this up and use this as part of a mash-up. Parts of this song is pretty good and would go well with others. This is Lady Gaga's first single and it's not bad. We'll see how her album turns out.

Recommended for casual playlists.

Iggy Azalea feat. Wale - Work (Remix)*
Release Date: July 2013

7/10

I really like Iggy. I think she has a bright future ahead of her. She is going to break out this year if not already.  Her track is great as a mash-up like so many other ones I've reviewed so far. By itself it isn't half bad and Wale does his thing like usual.

Recommended for casual playlists.

Ty Dolla $ign feat. Wiz Khalifa - Irie
Release Date: July 2013

7/10

This is track is more for the lounge/bar area. Something to relax to and bump to. Take a breather before you go out onto the dance floor again. Both Ty Dolla and Wiz has that slow-flow. Pretty cool.

Recommended for casual playlists.

Ludacris - Helluva Night*
Release Date: Aug. 2013

7/10

Slow banger time. This track is smooth and Ludacris is perfect for this track. This is when your just so messed up that you don't care.

DJ Clue feat. Future, Nicki Minaj, French Montana & Juelz Santana - Rich Friday*
Release Date: Aug. 2013

8/10

This is the perfect track to bump to for Fridays. This is a pre-funk banger. Nicki Minaj kills it again and the rest are pretty good too. Rich Friday. Make it rich.

Omarion feat. Fabolous & Pusha T - Know You Better*
Release Date: Aug. 2013

8/10

This slow banger just oozes sexiness. The slow beat and smooth singing of Omarion. You can never go wrong with that. Fabolous and Pusha T aren't bad in this, but I think I rather here more of Omarion. This track has more of an after party vibe.

Young Jeezy feat. 2 Chainz - R.I.P.*
Release Date: Feb. 2013

5/10

Young Jeezy has been around for awhile now. This is decent. Nothing too crazy here. I think parts of this track would be good as a mash-up.

Recommended for specific playlists.

will.i.am feat. Chris Brown - Let's Go
Release Date: April 2013

6/10

Like usual this is a hi energy track from will.i.am. Chris Brown provides the hook to complement the dance track. It could be better, but it isn't half bad.

Recommended for casual playlists.

Rittz feat. Mike Posner - Switch Lanes*
Release Date: April 2013

6/10

This has a pre-funk vibe to it. This is when your cruisin' to the club. Mike Posner definitely adds a soft touch to this track.

Recommended for casual playlists.

Mac Miller – Watching Movies*
Release Date: June 2013

6/10

Mac Miller has definitely been on his grind since we heard him last. I do like his first album better, but this album has a few hits including this one. This track would be great as a mash-up.

Recommended for casual playlists.

DJ Felli Fel feat. Wiz Khalifa, Tyga & Ne-Yo - Reason To Hate*
Release Date: April 2013

7/10

I really like this track from DJ Felli Fel. It has a make you feel good type of vibe. That my be due to Ne-Yo on the hook. Wiz Khalifa and Tyga are both pretty good on this track.

Fantasia Feat. Kelly Rowland & Missy Elliott - Without Me*
Release Date: April 2013

7/10

This slow banger is for the ladies. It's a great collaboration from all the female artists I like. This is great by itself or as a mash-up.

Recommended for most playlists.

Nicki Minaj feat. Lil Wayne - High School*
Release Date: Nov. 2012

7/10

Nicki Minaj comes out with so many tracks either from her or featuring her it's kind of overwhelming. But she puts a stamp on each and every track she's on, including this one. I like it. It has her rapping and singing in it. Nothing out of the usual. This has a mash-up type of feel to it.

Recommended for most playlists.

B.o.B feat. T.I. & Juicy J - We Still In This B*tch*
Release Date: Jan. 2013

7/10

We still in this. We still in this. Buy another round. That's what you'll be singing after you hear this. This will keep the club goin' until the late night.
