Hip-Hop|Club Banger Reviews (18) [January 2011 Edition]

Well here we are 2011. Another year of hopefully great songs to dance to. I hope everyone had a great 2010 and hope 2011 is even better. So far there aren't that many new club bangers for 2011, but I'm pretty sure it will pick up. So I'll be reviewin' the last of the club bangers of 2010 and some 2011 club bangers. So let's get to it. (Click on the pics for the tracks on iTunes)

Miguel - Pay Me ~ 126 bpm

Club/Party - 3.5/5
The Ladies - 1/5
Lastability - 3/5

A pretty good club banger that will get the ladies on the dance floor. Great as a mash up/remix. This just has a nice suave to it. It's a great song from an up and coming artist like Miguel. His entire album is very enjoyable and he can definitely sing.

Diddy feat. Dirty Money & Lil Wayne - Strobe Lights (Explicit) ~ 122 bpm
Release Date: Dec. 2010

Club/Party - 3/5
The Ladies - 2/5
Lastability - 3/5

This song is from Diddy's latest album. The album is a bit disappointing, but there are a few gems here. By itself it's just okay, but in a mash up it can be a great club song, especially a mash up with one of his other songs from his album.

Diddy feat. Dirty Money & Swizz Beatz - Ass on the Floor (Explicit) ~ 127 bpm
Release Date: Dec. 2010

Club/Party - 3.5/5
The Ladies - 2/5
Lastability - 3/5

Here is the other song to mash up. This song is a better stand alone dance song then Strobe Lights. And it's sounds great as a mash up with Strobe Lights. Again album is a bit disappointing, but there are a few songs worth downloading. Check out his album if you like.

Bobby Brackins feat. Ray J - 143 (Explicit) ~ 98 bpm

Club/Party - 3.5/5
The Ladies - 1/5
Lastability - 3/5

I'm not sure how I missed this club banger from May. But better late then never right? This one is by Bobby Brackins and featuring Ray J. Has kind of an 'ol school style and just a fun party song. Ray J as usual in the chorus doin' his thang.

Club/Party - 4/5

This is a great slow banger. Smooth vibes and smooth vocals make this a great song. CJ Hilton reminds me of Usher which is definitely a good thing. Definite download.

Another great club banger from Ciara. Fast paced and just fun lovin'. Definitely makes you just want to go out and dance. Usher does his usual thing in this track. No surprises here, but just a fun song to listen to.

Great track from upcoming artists Dev feat. The Cataracs. They were in Fly Like a G6 and that was actually their sample. Some nice bass beats and other crazy beats in the song. Overall very nice. Can't wait to hear more from them.

Club/Party - 4/5
The Ladies - 1/5

Kind of surprised to hear a track like this from Enrique, but he has done songs with hip hop artists before. But it stills a good club banger and it is great as a remix. Kind of raunchy, kind of out there, but it definitely makes you dance.

Britney Spears has come a long way in her songs. And her debut song does not disappoint. You will hear this song a lot in the clubs in the early 2011. Great song and will be even better remixed. If this is just a preview of her songs, then surprisingly I can't wait. Check it out.
