Hip-Hop|Club Banger Reviews (11)

Another weekend has passed and here I go. I updated the look of my blog and I am adding new Club Bangers to the mix. I am also whenever possible update with the pictures instead of the 'ol boring iTunes gray button. What a productive weekend. These latest club bangers are finally sounding like some good 'ol club bangin' music. Enjoy the rest of the week.

Radio Play - 2/5
Club/Party - 3/5
The Ladies - 1/5
Lastability - 3/5

We wasted. We wasted. Basically that's what this song is sayin'. Good song to bounce to and to party with. Plies is on this track and his style fits. When aren't you wasted when you clubbin' and partyin'. Hasn't been played much on the radio, but it might later on. Check it.

Radio Play - 3/5
Club/Party - 4/5
The Ladies - 2/5
Lastability - 3/5

Another DJ Khaled hit. He remixed in an old school classic song which for the most part works. Flo-Rida again is the main part of this track. This is a good club/party song. This hasn't been played much on the radio, but will pick up soon.

Radio Play - 4/5
Club/Party - 4/5
The Ladies - 2/5
Lastability - 4/5

Normally I am not a big fan of either Chris Brown or Lil Wayne, but this track is pretty hot. Since Swizz Beatz made a bangin' beat. This song will be definitely be played at the clubs and the parties. And this will be Chris Brown's first hit since the incident which shall not be spoken of.

Radio Play - 4/5

This beat is bangin'. The track is pretty hard and it is makes you wanna go out and do the shizz. Check out the music video and see what I mean. You won't be disappointed in this track and you'll be gettin' people to do just another dance move. Try gettin' them to do the shizz and crank dat soulja boy at the same time.

Radio Play - 3/5

Snoop Dogg is finally back with another hot track. The Dream fits perfectly in this song as well. It has a great summer feel and fits well at the clubs and parties. I think this song will be played on the radio a lot too.

Release Date: 2009

Radio Play - 2/5
Club/Party - 4/5
The Ladies - 1/5
Lastability - 4/5

The beat is hooooot. That's all I got to say about. This has got to be on your playlist for sure. You have to have speakers that can bump, because this song pumps out a lot of bass. Hasn't been played much on the radio, but this is a secret gem that people won't know except a few of us. This club banger will be a keeper.

Release Date: 2009

icon
icon

Radio Play - 2/5
Club/Party - 3/5
The Ladies - 1/5
Lastability - 3/5

This song isn't too bad. Another song from Triple C's. This won't be anything special, but throw it in the mix and people won't complain. Hasn't been played much on the radio and I am pretty sure it won't. Nothing for the ladies.

Murs feat. Far East Movement - Break Up (Remix) (The OJ Song) (Explicit) ~125 bpm
Release Date: 2009

icon
icon

Radio Play - 3/5
Club/Party - 3/5
The Ladies - 1/5
Lastability - 3/5

The remix of one of Murs tracks by Far East Movement. This will be their next hit after Girls on the Dancefloor made it big. This is definitely in the style of their other songs. So you either love it or hate it. I personally like their style, because its a little bit different. Check it out and see what you think.

Chamillionaire - Good Morning ~88 bpm
Release Date: 2009

icon
icon

Radio Play - 4/5
Club/Party - 3/5
The Ladies - 2/5
Lastability - 4/5

This isn't really a club banger, but it's a pretty good song in general. Chamillionaire is always churnin' up good songs and this one follows suit. I would recommend this song just to download and play it in the morning. It will start off your day right. I'm pretty sure you can mix this song in the club in some way too.

Hip-Hop|Club Banger Reviews (10)

My bad everyone. I haven't updated for a month and half. That's a very long time. At least in that month in a half there weren't that many good songs anyways. But I have been busy working and stuff so I haven't been able to update this thing. Today is your lucky day for new or not so new music. Since I have a three day weekend I can update at least once this month right.

Birdman feat. Drake & Lil Wayne - Money to Blow ~134 bpm
Release Date: 2009

icon
icon

Radio Play - 3/5
Club/Party - 3/5
The Ladies - 2/5
Lastability - 3/5

This club banger is pretty good. It is more of a slow banger. It will probably get a good amount of radio play, because of Drake and Lil Wayne in this song. It is more of a slow banger. If you mix this in with other songs, then this song can work. Nothing for the ladies really. This is more of a fall hit if anything.

Amerie - Heard 'Em All ~98 bpm
Release Date: 2009

icon
icon

Radio Play - 3/5
Club/Party - 2/5
The Ladies - 4/5
Lastability - 2/5

Amerie has had better songs then these. This song is more like an exercise extravaganza, then a dance song. But can work if you mix it in with other songs. This song gets played on the radio once in awhile. I like her though. She has a different style then most.

Drake feat. Kanye West, Lil Wayne & Eminem - Forever ~161 bpm
Release Date: 2009

icon
icon

Radio Play - 3/5
Club/Party - 3/5
The Ladies - 1/5
Lastability - 3/5

This is a pretty good song overall, but lacks that punch for a good club banger. You can play parts of it and hit it pretty hard, but don't play this song fully at the club/party. This song has been played on the radio. But has nothing to do with the ladies. Oh yeah and Eminem tears this track up.

Janet Jackson - Make Me ~128 bpm
Release Date: 2009

icon
icon

Radio Play - 3/5
Club/Party - 4/5
The Ladies - 5/5
Lastability - 4/5

This is a great song for the club, especially an 80's club. But it isn't even an 80's song you say? It has the feel of one. Janet Jackson still has good songs and you can feel the energy in this song. Reminiscent of some of Janet Jackson and even Michael Jackson songs. Download this song. You won't be disappointed.

Club/Party - 3/5
The Ladies - 2/5

Another slowbanger. It can be a bit catchy. Hasn't been played on the radio much. Check it out see what you think. This song is a bit better, because of Pleasure P. Otherwise Juvenile's part is just okay.

Another Jerkin' song. I just did a Jerkin' video of my cousin. Akhanh - Jerkin. If your crowd is the jerkin' crowd, then this is another song to add on the list. Other then that its an okay song. Won't get much radio play.

icon
icon

Radio Play - 3/5

This is a pretty good club banger song. Another hit with Fat Joe and T-Pain. It is more of a slow banger, but if you mix this in with other songs it will sound good. Check it out and see how you feel.

Jim Jones & DJ Webstar feat. Brucie B. & Ron G. - She Can Get It ~97 bpm
Release Date: 2009

icon
icon

Radio Play - 2/5
Club/Party - 2/5
The Ladies - 2/5
Lastability - 2/5

I wish this song could have been better. The beat is right for the club scene, but the lyrics and rhyme are pretty bad. I'm not sure what happened to Jim Jones, but this song isn't gonna help him. Maybe you can mix this song in somehow.

Carl Henry - Dim the Lights ~114 bpm
Release Date: 2009

icon
icon

Radio Play - 2/5
Club/Party - 3/5
The Ladies - 3/5
Lastability - 3/5

I actually like this song. It has a beat and flow that is just smooth. It hasn't been played much on the radio and Carl Henry is still trying to make a name for himself. You just have to listen to it and see if you want it on your playlist. I think it can work with the right person working the song.

Radio Play - 2/5

This song hasn't been played much on the radio yet, but I think it will be a hit on the radio sometime soon. It is a short song, but has a good flow to it. I am a big fan of John Legend as well. Mix this in with other songs and you'll be fine. Slow banger all the way.

Hip-Hop|Club Banger Reviews (9)

It has been a little over a month since I last updated. Lots of things have been going on and I haven't had time. Plus there haven't been that many new club bangers released. Hope everyone enjoys there Labor Day weekend and here are the new/old joints for today.

Pitbull feat. Akon - Shut It Down ~128 bpm
Release Date: 2009

icon
icon

Radio Play - 2/5
Club/Party - 3/5
The Ladies - 2/5
Lastability - 2/5

This song won't get too much radio play, because it is kind of repetitive. But it is definitely a dance song. This song would probably be more appropriate in the dance/techno section, but it can be mixed in with other club banger songs. Doesn't really have to do anything with the ladies. Parts of the songs can be a good mix, but overall this is one of Pitbull's more forgettable songs.

One of Flo Rida's hits last year. He's had better club bangers, but this is a pretty good one as well. This one has been mixed with a lot of different songs so you will probably hear it in one form or another. A good workout song as well.

Radio Play - 3/5
Club/Party - 3/5
The Ladies - 2/5

Not as popular as his Birthday Sex song, but its still a good song overall. I actually prefer this song over Birthday Sex, but that's my preference. This is a slow banger and a good song to mix in with other slow bangers. Nothing really to do with the ladies too much.

Radio Play - 2/5

The Ladies - 4/5
Lastability - 3/5

A new slow banger by Jamie Foxx. Not as strong as Blame It, but this remix will do the job. Drake and Kanye both tear up this track. Dedicated to the ladies and making it hit home. This song won't last too long, but it is a fun song while it lasts.

Radio Play - 2/5

Hasn't been played on the radio much, because he is fairly a new artist. This is just a fun song overall. I will have to hear more from IYAZ, but this song tops most of what Sean Kingston has put out. This isn't exactly a club banger, but it will be a good mix into other songs and this song is definitely dedicated to the ladies. This song can be put on replay (no pun intended).

Even though he used the sample from Imogen Heap - Hide and Seek, it is a competent song on its own. It has been picking up on the radio and it is a decent slow banger. A song about apologizing to the ladies and asking for another chance. Another song that will last for awhile in the club, but then fade away.

Cassie's new song with Akon. Hasn't had much radio play yet, but I think it will soon enough. It is a good club/party song. Cassie is very sensual in this song and it gives this song a bit more oomph. Not one of her best songs though, but still good.
