Hip-Hop|Club Banger Reviews (36) [October 2013 Edition]

There has been quite a bit of good club bangers for 2013 so far. Although most of the club bangers this year haven't got enough radio play. I guess that could be a good thing, because they always play out every song. I'm still waiting for that one heavy hitter club banger though. Usually every year has that one club banger that is off the hook. There is still three months left. So we'll see how things pan out. Start of October and it's getting a bit colder now. And where I'm at it's raining non-stop. It won't stop us from bumpin' to some crazy club bangers. Here are a few more club bangers I found for y'all. Enjoy.

Justin Timberlake - The 20/20 Experience – 2 of 2 (Album Review)
Release Date: Sept. 2013

8/10

The combination of Justin Timberlake and Timbaland is something special. The 20/20 Experience Part 2 is catered more to the dance crowd, but still has a classy feel to it. There are some really good songs on here to use as a mash-up. True Blood and Murder are my two favorite songs on this album. They both are high energy and just fun to dance to. Cabaret, TKO, and Take Back The Night are smooth slow hits. Something to relax and drink to. There are some songs on here that I don't really like, but that doesn't detract from the album as a whole. You can't go wrong with the Part 1, Part 2, or the complete album. Justin Timberlake has done it again.

Miley Cyrus - Bangerz* (Album Review)
Release Date: Oct. 2013

8/10

I had my doubts about Miley Cyrus and her craziness. She is definitely getting a lot of attention from everyone and that works in her favor. But is her new album any good? Listening to the album again and again just to make sure I'm not confused. I made up my mind, I give her props to what she's done with this album. It's pretty good. There are some really good club bangers on here. And the songs that aren't club bangers are pretty good too. We Can't Stop, Love Money Party and Do My Thang are the club bangers on this album. Well her next album definitely won't catch me by surprise. Or maybe it will.

Pusha T - My Name Is My Name* (Album Review)
Release Date: Oct. 2013

7/10

The club bangers on this album are Sweet Serenade and Pain. Both are good in its own way. Although there is one song on this album that I absolutely love. 40 Acres. The hook is by The-Dream and Pusha T flows effortlessly on this track. It's such a powerful song that it brought chills down my spine. Overall the album is pretty good. It has a mixture of good beats and good flows.

Andre Nickatina - Andre Nickatina* (Album Review)
Release Date: Sept. 2013

7/10

I haven't heard from Andre Nickatina for awhile now. So it was a surprise to me when I found out he was releasing an album. Jelly and Bonus are the club bangers on this album. Both I think would be good as a mash-up. The rest of his album is pretty good, but nothing really stands out to me. His style of music is still the same so you know what your getting.

Nelly - M.O* (Album Review)
Release Date: Sept. 2013

7/10

Another hip-hop artist that was unexpected; Nelly. He hasn't had an album for such a long time. So I'm glad to hear anything from him. A lot of his songs on this album are more pop/R&B now. There are a few club bangers on here though. Get Like Me, Shake Whatever, and Ciroc & Simply Lemonade. I like Heaven, Headphones, and Mos Focused as well. Not a super strong album from him, but I'm glad to hear from him nonetheless.

Kevin Gates - Stranger Than Fiction* (Album Review)
Release Date: July 2013

6/10

I could keep a secret, but we gotta be careful. The only club banger on this album. Smiling Faces and White Tan are my two favorite songs on this album. The other songs aren't as strong. Mostly forgettable. I do like Kevin Gates and hope his next album will be a bit better.

Gary Caos feat. Pitbull & Snow Tha Product - FCK*
Release Date: Sept. 2013

8/10

This is a very catchy upbeat song. It will definitely get people on the dance floor. Pitbull does what he usually does, but Snow Da Product is growing more and more on me. Her flows are just too good. Highly Recommended.

Timmy Titus - All Night*
Release Date: July 2013

7/10

I really like this track from Timmy Titus. It has a good slow banger vibe to it. It would be good as a mash-up too.

DJ Charlotte Devaney feat. Snoop Dogg - Flip It
Release Date: July 2013

6/10

I enjoy this little dance number from DJ Charlotte Devaney. It looks likes Snoop Dogg/Snoop Lion is trying to put his hands in every genre. Which is okay in my book. The song is a bit generic, but I don't mind with this one.
