Hip-Hop|Club Banger Reviews (31) [August 2013 2nd Edition]

It took me awhile to set things up. So I did a small update last night. Today is the long update. So get ready for a whole bunch of club bangers.

Repeat just to make sure:

Follow me @Music2URearZ. This is where I'll be posting my latest info on updates and anything involving music. I've also added an iTunes playlist on the right side of the page. Every time I post a review I will also update the playlist. So you can sample the song or album and then buy it off of iTunes if you like. If some of you don't see the playlist, I recommend disabling Adblock just for this page.

I've added Google Wallet as well. If you want to support and donate you are more then welcome to do so.

Since there are so many tracks to review I'm going to do an overall club banger rating. The rating will change to a maximum of 10.

Now that I'm done repeating myself. Here are the reviews:

(Click on iTunes pic for the track)

Fat Joe feat. Wiz Khalifa & Teyana Taylor - Ballin'*
Release Date: March 2013

6/10

This track is to get you hyped up before the clubs or as a mash-up for the DJs. Fat Joe has been around for a long time so its great to hear from him again. Wiz Khalifa and Teyana Taylor are good features in this track.

Recommended for casual playlists.

Jay Sean feat. Rick Ross - Mars*
Release Date: July 2013

8/10

There are so many great slow bangers out right now. There is no reason to run out of these type of tracks. Jay Sean is great in this smooth melody. Once this track is on, you'll be focused only on the person your dancing with.

Ke$ha feat. Juicy J - Crazy Kids (Remix)*
Release Date: May 2013

6/10

This remix with Juicy J makes this a great hit. Juicy J flows perfectly with this track. Ke$ha isn't bad, but you know what you get from her. And the hook is pretty catchy. Great as a mash-up.

Recommended for casual playlists.

Wale feat. Sam Dew - LoveHate Thing*
Release Date: May 2013

7/10

Wale is not an upcoming artist anymore. He's established himself as a great hip-hop artist. This track flows with confidence and you can see he's having fun with this one. This is great at a bar/lounge. Something to kick back and enjoy.

Ciara feat. Nicki Minaj - I’m Out*
Release Date: May 2013

9/10

What a collaboration between Ciara and Nicki Minaj! Ciara has been churning out club bangers since she first made it on the scene. And Nicki Minaj has been doing the same thing. Such a great combo and this will definitely get the ladies on the dance floor.

Jessie J feat. Big Sean - Wild*
Release Date: May 2013

7/10

This track is a great hi-energy inducer. It seems like Big Sean is trying to team up with everyone these days. Which isn't a bad thing. I'm excited for Jessie J. Hopefully I'll hear more from her.

Miley Cyrus - We Can't Stop
Release Date: June 2013

8/10

I gotta give Miley Cyrus props on this track. There are so many clubs playing this track and for a good reason. It's super catchy and can be great as a mash-up. Definitely gets everybody up on their feet.

Wale feat. Rihanna - Bad (Remix)*
Release Date: June 2013

8/10

What a sultry slow banger. If whistling in the background was a must on a list, then so is the bed squeaking sound as well. This just screams ultra sexiness. Wale and Rihanna are a great combo.

Rich Gang - Tapout*
Release Date: March 2013

6/10

There are so many artists on this track. Lil Wayne, Birdman, Nicki Minaj, and others. Does that make it a great track? Mmm. Sort of. I can see this track as a slow banger. Lil Wayne and Nicki Minaj are great like usual. The others not so much. I could see this as a mash-up.

Travi$ Scott feat. T.I. & 2 Chainz - Upper Echelon*
Release Date: April 2013

5/10

This track would be good as a mash-up. By itself it's just okay. Not enough beat to dance to. I would chop it up and mix it with other club bangers. T.I. is a stand out on this one.

Recommended for specific playlists.

Juicy J feat. Trey Songz & Wale - Bounce It*
Release Date: June 2013

7/10

This one is definitely a banger. Trey Songz does the hook while Juicy J and Wale tear up this smooth track. By the end of it you might be throwin' a couple thousand.

The Cataracs feat. Luciana - Big Dipper*

7/10

This is a high energy club banger. The Cataracs have been churning bass thumpers for a while now and they don't disappoint here.

Dorrough Music - After Party*
Release Date: June 2013

8/10

If you want a hard club banger, then this it. Hard bass and hard flows. This will definitely get the walls shaking. Definitely add this to your playlist.

Nelly feat. Nicki Minaj & Pharrell - Get Like Me*
Release Date: July 2013

7/10

Pharrell always has some unique beats and this one is no different. I think this would be great as a mash-up. I'm glad that Nelly is trying to come back in the game and I can't wait to hear more from him. Nicki Minaj doin' her thing like usual.

Recommended for most playlists.

DJ Khaled feat. Drake, Rick Ross & Lil Wayne - No New Friends*
Release Date: April 2013

7/10

DJ Khaled has some of the best collaborations. He features some of the best artists that would fit with each other. This track is more of a pre-funk kind of vibe. A mash-up would be preferable for this one.

Nick Cannon - Me Sexy*
Release Date: July 2013

6/10

I think you have to be pretty tipsy for this one. It is more of a fun track than anything else. Just dance to it and don't think about it too much. The beat is great for a mash-up. So I recommend taking that path.

Recommended for casual playlists.

Ray J feat. Bobby Brackins - I Hit It First*
Release Date: April 2013

5/10

I hit it first. I think we all know who he's talking about. Even though he said it wasn't her. It's all good. We are here for the beat and not the lyrics (mostly). I would used this as a mash-up.

Recommended for casual playlists.

Sean Paul feat. Juicy J & 2 Chainz - Entertainment*
Release Date: June 2013

8/10

Tonight I need some entertainment. Entertainment. Tonight is the night you will be entertained by this club banger. Bass hitting, catchy hook, Juicy J and 2 Chainz doin' their thing. What more can you ask for?

This slow banger has a Drake/The Weeknd feel to it. I would play this track as my intro of the night. It sets the mood perfectly. Welcome To The Party.

Tinie Tempah feat. 2 Chainz - Trampoline*
Release Date: July 2013

7/10

Hi energy club banger. I like Tinie Tempah, but he can be a bit annoying on this one. That doesn't detract from the track too much. 2 Chainz is fire on this one though.

Chris Brown feat. Nicki Minaj - Love More*
