Hip-Hop|Club Banger Reviews (24) [September 2011 Edition]

Here we are at the end of September and the beginning of October. Everyone is back in school and fall is upon us. But that's okay in my book. Because music doesn't care what day it is. It will continue on playing no matter what happens. And we have even more music to dance to. Enjoy the last bit of sunny weather.

Lastability - 3.5/5

B.o.B. continues to impress me. And his new single continues to show his presence in the hip-hop scene. I cannot wait for his next album to drop. The beat is pretty sick and B.o.B. does what he does best. Lil Wayne also does his thing on this track. Great for the clubs and definitely mix/mash with your other tracks.

Although this is Birdman's track. Both Nicki Minaj and Lil Wayne outshine him in this one. Especially Nicki Minaj. I never get tired of hearing her and her flows are just entertaining. Overall not a bad track and I can hear parts of this track being bumped at the clubs. I would recommend mixing/mashing this track up.

You can always depend on Flo Rida to come up with a new club banger. Although I don't think it will become as popular as his other ones, it's still a very fun song to dance to. You can never go wrong with any of Flo Rida's tracks if you want people on the dance floor. Recommended.

This track is more of a slow banger. I've always liked Ryan Leslie and him being in this track is a definite plus. Red Cafe has always been an entertaining artist as well. He kind of sounds like Birdman, but Red Cafe has way better flows. Rick Ross just adds a bit of flavor to this track. You'll probably hear more mash ups of this track at the clubs.

Album Review

4/5

Casey Veggies is an up and coming artist. His album speaks volumes of his talent. A lot of his tracks are well produced and he even has a hit with Mac Miller. He is very young, but has a lot of raw talent. I can't wait to hear what he has coming up next. Recommended.

Album Review

4/5

I really miss the old days. Especially the old days with Bone Thugs-n-Harmony. They use to be one of my favorite rap groups. And I'm glad they are back in some form. Although it is Flesh n Bone's album. There are a few tracks with some of the other members. And those tracks really shine. They remind me of way back when. So I highly recommend this album if you love rap from the 90's.

This is what an album should be called if it wants to played in the club. All of her songs on this album is prepped and ready for the club. It is a great album to just dance to. Although some songs do sound the same. It has enough variety that you won't get sick of it. Inna has great vocals for all of these songs. Recommended for clubs/parties.

Album Review

4.5/5

Three artists I think that are gonna just blow up in the scene. One was Wale, the other was Big Sean, and the final third was J. Cole. I still stick by it. J. Cole's album is hot. You have club bangers, bass bumpin' tracks, and "real talk" tracks. So he can do a mix of everything that I think that makes an album successful. He will definitely rise to fame and we need more artists like him in the game. Highly Recommended.

Album Review

4/5

This is a very strong album from Jason Derulo. To be honest I didn't think he was that good. Yeah he had a couple of hits, but I didn't think they were anything special. But if I just sit back and listen to his new album, then it's really catchy. He reminds me of a lot like Taio Cruz. They both have the same style of music. And that's not bad at all. A lot of good dance songs and a couple other songs sprinkled in there. I give a high recommendation for this album.
