Hip-Hop|Club Banger Reviews (17) [December Edition One]

Well here we are. Another year gone by and tons of great club bangers to dance to. All the way to 2011. So we have one last month to dance the night away. November was one of the best months this year for the hip-hop music in general. Hopefully December can bring even more. Well let's get to it. (Click on the pics for the tracks on iTunes)

T.I. - No Mercy Album
Release Date: Dec. 2010

So T.I.'s album just released and it is a must download. I'm gonna do something a bit different. I'm gonna review songs on his album that I think that's strong enough to be a a club banger or tracks that I think that are just too good to ignore. Overall if you got the cash. Cop his new album. This is starting December on the right foot. Or left. Whatever it may be check it out. You can either click on the pic to check out his new album to the fullest or click on the individual links to go to that specific song.

T.I. feat. Kanye West and Kid Cudi - Welcome to the World

 Club/Party - 3/5
The Ladies - 1/5
Lastability - 3.5/5

His first track starts off perfect. Kanye West tears up the track like usual and Kid Cudi does what he does on the chorus. The beats go hard and the flows are nice. In terms of a club banger I could see it in a mix. And anyone who likes T.I. will dance to whatever he gots.

T.I. feat. Eminem - That's All She Wrote
~ 85 bpm

Club/Party - 2.5/5
The Ladies - 1/5
Lastability - 4/5

Probably will be one of the most downloaded track from his new album. I can't blame people either. The beat is really smooth and you can listen to it for days. Plus Eminem really tears this track a new one. I haven't heard him rap this fast in a long while. The chorus is really catchy too. Overall a very good song. Again not really a club banger, but I'm pretty sure you can put it in a mix.

T.I. feat. The-Dream - No Mercy
~ 148 bpm

Club/Party - 1.5/5
The Ladies - 1/5
Lastability - 3.5/5

This track is deep. You really just have to listen to what he really is talking about. Plus this track is the name of this album. So that means something right? The-Dream really builds this track up as well. Not a club banger whatsoever. But again this track is an inspiration to listen to.

T.I. feat. Pharell - Amazing
 ~ 90 bpm

Club/Party - 3/5
The Ladies - 1/5
Lastability - 3/5

This track has Pharell's beats all over it. So that depends if you like his style or not. But it definitely can be a good club banger if mixed right. So check it out and see what you think.

Recommended for some playlists.

T.I. feat. Drake - Poppin Bottles
 ~ 156 bpm

Club/Party - 3.5/5
The Ladies - 1/5
Lastability - 3.5/5

This will probably be the one track that will be played the most at clubs/parties. It's a smooth club banger and T.I. and Drake really have that suave for this track. So if there is one track to download for y'all club bangers. It's this one.

Kanye West - My Beautiful Dark Fantasy Album
Release Date: Nov. 2010

icon
icon

Wow. Just wow. I wasn't able to review his album last month 'cause of Thanksgiving and everything. But just listening to his album. It's really really good. Almost all of his songs have great beats and crazy lyrics. Kanye West is back for sure. There are too many songs to talk about here so I'll just choose a few that I really like. Plus I already reviewed quite a few of them. But again got the cash? Get the album. It's that good. Oh by the way if you haven't seen his crazy half an hour music video. Then you should. It will set you up for his album.

Kanye West - Dark Fantasy
~ 88 bpm

Club/Party - 3/5
The Ladies - 2/5
Lastability - 3.5/5

The first track on his song is also the first song you here in his music video. It really sets up the story he's trying to tell throughout his album. I really like it a lot. The beats, the singing, the rapping. It is really a complete packaged track. Love it. I'm pretty sure someone is already mixing it for a club mix. Which could be pretty good.

Kanye West feat. Kid Cudi and Raekwon - Gorgeous
~  92 bpm

Club/Party - 2.5/5
The Ladies - 2/5
Lastability - 3/5

Another great track from Kanye West's new album. Smooth beats and smooth lyrics. It's really a song that you can just sit back and enjoy. Again it probably can be in a good mix if you wanna bump it at the clubs/parties.

Recommended for some playlists.

Kanye West feat. Rihanna - All of the Lights
~ 142 bpm

Club/Party - 3/5
The Ladies - 3/5
Lastability - 3/5

Seriously there are too many tracks on this album that is good. They are so different from each other, yet very pleasing to the ear. This one I personally like more for the club. It seems like a good intro for the night whether your at the club or at the parties having a good time. It's also a great song to mash up with other songs.

Recommended for casual playlists.

Kanye West feat. Bon Iver - Lost In the World
~ 117 bpm

Club/Party - 3/5
The Ladies - 3/5
Lastability - 3.5/5

Here is the last track and one of my favorites on his new album. I really enjoy the beats and singing in this one. It's really upbeat and makes you wanna dance. But not the bump and grindin' dance. More like go crazy and soak in the song dance. Again great as a standalone or a remix.

Nicki Minaj - Pink Friday Album
Release Date: Nov. 2010

So here it is. Nicki Minaj's new album is out. Hmmm it's not bad. But I think it could have definitely been better. There are a few tracks on here that are a cut above the rest. Overall I don't think you'll be too disappointed if you bought the album. But I think for myself I'll just buy the tracks I really like.

Nicki Minaj - I'm the Best
~ 82 bpm

Club/Party - 2/5
The Ladies - 3/5
Lastability - 2.5/5

Her first track on this album is pretty good. This album speaks to all the haters out there hatin' on her. And this track is reiterating that. I really like her flows and the beat is really nice.

Nicki Minaj feat. Rihanna - Fly
~  120 bpm

Club/Party - 2.5/5
The Ladies - 5/5
Lastability - 3/5

This is one of my favorite tracks on her album. Rihanna really makes this track stand out, but Nicki Minaj again really speaks from the heart and has some really good flows/lyrics. Not quite a club banger, but a remix of it would be good.

Recommended for some playlists.

Nicki Minaj feat. Drake - Moment 4 Life
~ 98 bpm

Club/Party - 2.5/5
The Ladies - 3/5
Lastability - 3.5/5

This is my other favorite track. The beats are really smooth and both Nicki Minaj and Drake really make this track alive. It's a really good uplifting track. A reason why I like this track so much.

The Black Eyed Peas - The Beginning Album

After listening to their new album I'm gonna have to say I'm a bit disappointed. There are still a few good songs here, but overall I'm not really impressed for some reason. Maybe I have to get use to it or something, but it lacks that oomph from their other songs I guess. Well you can check out the album and see for yourself.

The Black Eyed Peas - The Time (Dirty Bit)

Club/Party - 3.5/5
The Ladies - 4/5
Lastability - 3.5/5

This will be definitely be bumped at the clubs/parties. I'm not a big fan of this song for some reason, but I know when a song can get people dancing. And this one will be for sure. Not their best, but definitely will get the job done. Good in a mix.

A pretty good club song with all the funky beats you can dream of. Again not the best song I've heard from them, but a catchy beat nonetheless.

All their song this album has really really funky beats. Some are good, some are okay, and some are just plain crazy. And again this one has it all too. So again if you check out their album and like really funky beats, then this album is for you.

This is a fun song from Robyn. It's a very techonish/poppy song. This song is released from her new album. The album is pretty good, but I think this is one of the better ones on her new album. Great bass and it's just a very catchy song. Check out her whole album and see what you think.

'Ol Dr. Dre. I'm glad to hear a new track from him and it doesn't disappoint. Great beat and smooth flows. Snoop Dogg in the track too? Awesome. With Akon doing the chorus. It reminds me of the 'ol Nate Dogg days. Great track.

Well here is Diddy's new track from his new album that will be released during this month. Not a big fan of his songs, but he did have some pretty good tracks with Ma$e. This song is particularly good, because of Skylar Grey. Diddy's rap is uninspiring, but overall I like this track. Not a club type song tho.

This is one of Ke$ha's new songs. She has been releasing a few tracks in the past few weeks, but I feel like this one will be heard most in the clubs. It kind of sounds like some of her other songs, but again this song will make you dance and that's what matters. Remix it with other tracks and it will be amazing.

Kid Cudi is becoming of one my favorite artists. I really like his style of music and the beats are so smooth. So his album is about to be released in a week and of course a hot single comes off of it. This isn't exactly a club banger either, but more of a plug for Kid Cudi. Again this song can be easily mixed into a more uptempo beat and it can rock the place. Check it out.
