Hip-Hop|Club Banger Reviews (12)

It has been a long time comin'. Happy New Years (Lunar New Year) everybody. And I'm finally back. I have been in over 3 month hiatus. Since I have been gone it is already a new decade. 2010. Craziness. I apologize for everyone who was lookin' for new music to bump to and were lost without me. I kid, because you all probably didn't need me anyways. Well I'm gonna update, but I can't guarantee a consistent update. I'm gonna try though. Alright well here goes.

This update will consist of the last 3 months of songs since I was gone and 2010 stuff. So get ready for a big download.

*Notice - I will no longer review radio play, because it isn't relevant to my recommendation for adding it to your playlist.

Birdman feat. Jay Sean - Written on Her (Explicit) ~140 bpm
Release Date: 2009

Club/Party - 3/5
The Ladies - 2/5
Lastability - 3/5

This song I recommend for casual playlists. Jay Sean will be big in the next couple of years and having him on this track makes this song that much better. Its a good song, but not a great club banger. If you can mix this in with the right songs, then it can work in your favor.

Recommended for casual playlists.

Jay-Z feat. Rihanna - Run This Town (Explicit) ~87 bpm
Release Date: 2009

Club/Party - 4/5
The Ladies - 3/5
Lastability - 4/5

Even though it has been played at the clubs I still have to recommend it. Jay-Z with Rihanna is a classic. Everyone will know this song at the parties or at the clubs. It is one of those songs that will last for a long time. Remix this one and it's even hotter.

Snoop Dogg feat. Lil Jon - 1800 (Explicit) ~100 bpm
Release Date: 2009

icon

Club/Party - 3/5
The Ladies - 1/5
Lastability - 2/5

This track is on Snoop Dogg's latest album. There are better songs on his album, but this one is best suited for the more hardcore club bangers. It's not bad, but I recommend mixin' it in with another track. Check it out and tell me what you think.

Chris Brown feat. Plies - What I Do ~155 bpm
Release Date: 2009

Club/Party - 3/5
The Ladies - 3/5
Lastability - 3/5

I like this track, but I don't recommend this for most playlists. It's not a really good club banger by itself. You can play this track, but the crowd won't feel out the whole song. Mix it with other songs and you'll be fine. Other then that I really do like the song.

Recommended for casual playlists.

Cinema Bizarre & Space Cowboy - I Came to Party (Explicit) ~133 bpm
Release Date: 2009

icon

Club/Party - 3/5
The Ladies - 3/5
Lastability - 3/5

This is a good party song and an okay club song, if you know what I mean. Throw it in the mix towards the beginning or the end of the playlist and this will flow better. It's a catchy track, but casual at best.

Jay-Z feat. Drake - Off That ~111 bpm
Release Date: 2009

icon

Club/Party - 3/5
The Ladies - 1/5
Lastability - 3/5

I really like to recommend this to most playlists, but I can't. This was the track that hooked me to Jay-Z's album. The beat is hot and is one of my favorite songs on the album. If you can mix this song in with other tracks, then this can be really hot. Check it out see what you think.

Yo Gotti feat. Gucci Mane, Trina, & Nicki Minaj - 5 Star Chick ~153 bpm
Release Date: 2009

Club/Party - 3/5
The Ladies - 1/5

This is a pretty hardcore track. Mix the chorus with some other track. It's a forgettable song though. Put it on some of your playlists to spice things up.

Club/Party - 3/5

I like this track from Jay-Z as well. Overall his album is pretty hot. This is a good slow banger track. Keep it on your playlist as a back up song as well.

Chris Brown feat. Trey Songz & The Game - Wait (Explicit) ~88 bpm
Release Date: 2009

Club/Party - 3/5
The Ladies - 2/5
Lastability - 3/5

Another track off of Chris's new album. Not as good as I Can Transform Ya, but I'm still feelin' the beat. This is actually a good work out track if you need something fast paced. Like usual mix this track, because its not a good stand alone at the clubs.

Recommended for some playlists.

Ludacris feat. Ciara & Pitbull - How Low (Remix) (Explicit) ~144 bpm
Release Date: 2009

icon

Club/Party - 4/5
The Ladies - 2/5
Lastability - 3/5

This is a definitely a club banger. Even though this track kind of annoys me you should have this on your playlist if you want some dancin' goin' on. Ludacris usually has the club bangers down so keep this on your playlist.

Usher feat. Plies - Hey Daddy (Daddy's Home) ~96 bpm
Release Date: 2009

Club/Party - 4/5
The Ladies - 3/5
Lastability - 4/5

Usher's back and tearin' down the tracks like usual. I recommend this slow banger if you want to spice up the club. Great for slow dancin' parties as well. Usher knows how to make tracks and again it shows.

Snoop Dogg feat. The-Dream - Luv Drunk (Explicit) ~100 bpm
Release Date: 2009

Club/Party - 3/5
The Ladies - 2/5
Lastability - 3/5

Another slow banger on the way. I like this track, because The-Dream is on it. Again if everyone is feelin' the slow groove, then turn this track up.

Club/Party - 3/5
The Ladies - 1/5

This is my first 2010 track that I'm reviewin'. Wahoo. That's about it. Unfortunately this song ain't that great. This will see limited play at the clubs. It can be mixed in somehow with other songs. Check it out and see.

Club/Party - 3/5
The Ladies - 4/5

This is a track for all the independent ladies. The beat is alright, but its nice to hear more tracks from the ladies. Mix it in the playlist somehow, but don't play the full song.

Club/Party - 4/5

This track is hot. 'Specially with Jump Smokers. Pitbull is great in this club banger as well. Have this on your playlist and people will keep dancin'.

Lady Gaga feat. Beyonce - Telephone ~122 bpm
Release Date: 2008

Club/Party - 3/5
The Ladies - 4/5
Lastability - 3/5

Another track for and from the ladies. It's a good dance song, but nothing too extraordinary. Great collab with Beyonce. Put it on your playlist for an extra boost.

Recommended for casual playlists.

Lil Jon feat. Kee - Give It All U Got ~125 bpm
Release Date: 2009

Club/Party - 3/5
The Ladies - 3/5
Lastability - 3/5

A great track for the ladies. Lil Jon has a bunch of club bangers and this one doesn't disappoint. Although it is an average club banger at best. Throw it in your playlist if your feelin' zippy. Yeah I don't know what that means.

Recommended for casual playlists.

Lloyd Banks feat. Juelz Santana - Beamer, Benz, or Bentley (Explicit) ~160 bpm

A hard track by Lloyd Banks. I'm not huge fan of him, but this song is real nice. Mix it in with other tracks and you'll keep the party goin'.

The tracks keep comin' from the ladies. This is a nice one too. Mix with the other tracks from the ladies and you got a hit on your hands.

Release Date: 2010

icon

Club/Party - 4/5
The Ladies - 4/5
Lastability - 4/5

This song isn't as hot as The Way I Are, but that song is one of his bests. This track is still hot by its own standards though. Timbaland is a great producer and knows how to make club beats.
Get this one for sure.

My last song I'm reviewing for the day and it is yet again from the ladies. They are coming out strong this year and this is just the beginning. Get this one and keep it bumpin' throughout the night.
